To live and draw
It’s a new year, and my thoughts are like a stack of notebooks before starting a new project—it’s all there, so only thing to do is dive in
This Friday evening I’ll be at KALW in San Francisco for Story Hour and live drawing. I’ll be joining Bay Area storytellers Naeemah Charles, Corey Rosen, and Ariam Weldeab to talk about art and storytelling, and beforehand, I’ll be drawing portraits
We have 8 slots for portraits, so if you’re interested, please sign up HERE
STORY HOUR at KALW
Friday, Jan 23
Portraits 5pm – 7pm
Panel 7 pm – 8:30 pm
220 Montgomery Street
San Francisco
Come! These are really fun and engaging events—AND, they have free pizza from Joyride! 😋
Also, if you can’t make it, and you want to sit for a drawing, I’m now scheduling studio sessions again. Message me and we’ll make a plan
Hope to see you at the event, otherwise, more from me soon!

As for the comparison with Dali, I was feeling the stark reality of your work, if not actually surealist.
The artist cannot stop drawing, so I wish you success in your projects for 2026.
I can feel the delicate intentions in your portrait.
